If they know sure profit making tips then why do they give it to the public?

They may got some knowledge but not fully confident about their tips so they are finding a safer way to earn money than risking their hard earned money. In this way, they will be paid whether you make a profit or not.

It should be a choice for contribution.
Once it really helps people then somehow they might end up giving free coins or even bitcoin itself to this people.
But I am guessing that wont happen since they will need something for maintenance or they might get bored if there is no money getting in.
