Exactly. There are many altcoins which appear daily, but not all of them would be able to remain in the cryptocurrency market for years to come. Only those that could provide constant development and real-world usage will be the ones to survive in the future. As such, there are many altcoins in existence which have no usage at all and are more of the same. They will cease to exist when people find out the next big thing.

Therefore, I believe that mostly the biggest cryptocurrencies in existence within the top 10 rankings will be the ones that will survive for quite some time. Ethereum, Litecoin, NEO, Dash, Monero, and even Cardano will be here to stay providing real usage in the mainstream world. Just my opinion
