look at the history and you may be able to answer your own question better. in the past few years there have been lots and lots of new coins and tokens released and you can see that majority of them were on top at some point and then died after a while because their "demand" is only speculative demand and that doesn't last forever as newer ones come along.

Thats why I was taught to pay more attention to ICOs based on real things (realty, hardware etc.) Services and software can be easily closed and Devs disappear. Or may be I'm just too overcautious.
