The article doesn't said much. It just said about the technology changes and that might be the reason for bitcoin price to go up. Since some of here replied and answered, I know now what the factors affecting the bitcoin price to change. It's also hard to believe but we'll see what happens in the future.

$50,000 is too much year-end price for 2018 and I dont know your basis of your projection. I think it is purely speculation and not on solid facts. The link you have provided didnt elaborate the reason all they say is due to major technology developments. But sure were all happy if these prices reach at that level. But based on my technical analysis it will return to $20,000 mark within 6 months.
