No, they actually buy it for you on the Bittrex exchange, super convenient if you are waiting for an account and want it now. For coins with more exchanges, it also allows for choosing the lowest price it seems. Looks like a pretty cool project. Currently Bitcoin to vTorrent is not supported by CoinSwitch means that they don't have the supply in stock themselves I guess since popular coins offer the option to buy directly from CoinSwitch.

I've never used such services, as I like doing stuff myself, but I definitely agree it could be useful to many, especially now when registrations are suspended in many exchanges, and even for existing users of who want anonymity and don't wish to pass verification. I suppose CoinSwitch doesn't require verification by itself. Does it?

I am not sure about needing verification. What doesn't work is Ethereum to vTorrent for example, because Coinswitch doesn't have actual vTorrent in stock themselves. So you can only use the BTC to VTR option which is fine for people who purely want VTR and don't have a way to get into Bittrex.
