Well the dude is kind of worried even though he abides. If I have coins (sent presumably before the fork if it occurred on aug. 24) in a wallet that is having the fork which is behind several hundred or thousand blocks. Do those coins need to be sent to a wallet that is having the highest number block? Or are they safe as long as they weren't sent after the fork? Or is everything fucked because they are in a wallet that's behind? A little guidance would be appreciated.

Anything happening before the fork will be okay. If you mined coins on the wrong fork they will be invalid. If you sent coins on the wrong chain but they were valid. They should be ok you will just need to repair your wallet to get them back.
