I don't think it will go under 8k value at all. This is because it will start drifting upwards before that. The value can't go that down as at the same time many more investors will be buying huge quantities of bitcoin and will be putting loads of money on stake. Thus one stage will come when the stagnant layer will form and bitcoin will start pushing itself upwards. This will surely happen at 8k because that would be lowest point for most of the crypto users. I would say people go crazy selling their altcoins also and thus they will convert everything that they have into bitcoin.
