What if I ask,
- "What do you offer on the spot?", If you place an advertisement on a media that is obviously no one is interested in something you offer, it's worth it
- "How is the form and manner of your advertising?", An interesting advertisement is representing the reputation of a product / service. Tell me you've spent a lot of money for maximum ad quality.

This, no matter where he is going to promote his product or link but if he do not know how to promote it effectively then he will always get zero result. Advertising is a little bit hard thing to do effectively, it is proven by many failed ads in this world. He just need to evaluate why he failed on forum and social media then find the better way to advertise his product.

Marketing out your own link or promote such product wont really be an easy thing.It might sounds to easy but doing it on actual basis would really be a different story.I do believe that this can be considered as a skill for those people who can easily invite people with just a proper ways on advertising,recruiting,motivating,convincing people to sign up.This is just a pure knowledge and creativity as long it can really caught up attention.
