Any rise in Bitcoin price is completely independent to rise in crimes. It is mostly affected by the rule of supply and demand together with large scale pump and dump groups. Bitcoin price affecting criminal rate is somewhat aggreable since more thieves will engage into crypto.

I cant really understand that if there is any such relationship in between increase in the market value of the bitcoin and that of the increase in the crime rate as bitcoin has got nothing to do with the crime rate and that it can hardly increase or decrease the rate of crime. However, it can increase the cybercrime rate to a little value and that too by the ones who are busy in hacking or are doing frauds.
