You're saying that a third party is not involved. That leaves only two people capable of doing it, and only one with a $35k motive and matching grammar. So far you haven't shown anything to suggest that the OP was trying to scam you. Why would you think that the OP needs to be tagged red? Do you want to share your chat logs so that we could see how it leads to the escrow e-mail?
