ICOs are evil. But banning all crypto-related ads will lead to people being unaware of promising technologies.
I think it is bad for crypto-market capitalisation.
ICOs aren't necessarily evil. Only the scammy ones are, even though majority are indeed scammy.
There are a lot more places for projects to be known. A good example would be on Reddit, and here on Bitcointalk. If the new projects are good(and not scammy), then they would have no problem on getting publicity on Reddit and here on Bitcointalk.
