I think it is much better to do it on our own, if we know how to do trading and we have time, we can definitely earn a lot from day trading, but if we don't have those time and skills then it can be smart to ride on their boat, but we should at least try to learn to so we can see how it really goes.

No one came in this world with expertise. Everyone on this planet earth learned something in which he is now expert. So why you can do it yourself. Start trying new things and this will help you to make a good portfolio. You will be encountering with mistakes and losses, but dont discourage yourself. Rather take every mistake as your teacher and try this trading at your own part.
