You can actually send it to who you want to send to help them. Other one is you can invest it for the future if you needed it badly
But the main advantage of bitcoin is it is untraceable and safe. it is so simple to trade and easy to carry.

No doubt that a lot of advantage are there, but to me i think that the most important advantage of bitcoin is that bitcoin is giving us a good profit,i think that bitcoin will continue its value increasing after some time, therefore it is too much important to buy bitcoin right now and do not waste any more time.
