Honestly, not all of us could hold bitcoin for more than 3 years because we cannot avoid spending a lot of money in a day or a month, aslong it is our needs. But if a person already has more than 3 bitcoin i think that person can hold bitcoin for more than 3 years without any difficulty in spending their money.

It was a sure thing that the most people who can afford to hold for 3 years is having more than 3 bitcoins in their wallets. Too few people whi had a 3-4 bitcoins will come and hold 3 bitcoin for years. Generally, we can't know how many of them will have a capability to hold and how many bitcoiners have those amount of bitcoins.

I do not really think that the number of bitcoin you have has any influence on how long you can hold, the only thing that you need in order to hold for a long time is to have a very strong confidence in bitcoin and in what it can become and to have great patience, I have not held my bitcoin for three years but I'm planning to hold for a lot longer because I know that the benefits I will get out of it will be immense.
