We have the same concept in controlling our self on gambling , That is the way I control myself / to stop my self on playing gambling if I know that I dont have luck on that day. Maybe If everybody gamble like this , the ruined gamblers life can be lessen.

I think that we can know it's time to stop if we have a target, set a target profit or lose when play in gambling.

People usually go with this approach but gambling is such a strange game, it really overt you in an addict mode where you dont know what all is happening around. Your main target becomes to grab back all what you have lost. And in this try, again you are ending with nothing in your hand. So better is to leave such harmful game that have big loss for you at the end of day.

Thats what we can call desperation and anger. Nobody likes losing money without any reason. If you ask me, I consider gambling as a game of robbery and it is the worst kind because the victim can only watch and pity himself while his money is saying goodbye. Whenever emotions overtake senses of a person, it is not astonishing to watch that guy doing crazy things. Gambling losers are this way.
