it depends on how much was the actual price on when did you invest actually....if you invested when the price was on the lowest part well congrats ure already on profit now.but if you invest on the high price last year well sorry to say your really on lose.we always need to keep in mind that when we invest or buy certain coin make sure its in the dip.that way we can avoid panic selling.right timing and patience is what we really need.

If you bought bitcoins or any cryptocurrency at the peak then you should just hold it and keep a few of it to trade altcoins so you will be able to grow it into a higher amount and that will become your process to be able to recover from loss in usd value because you are slowly growing your bitcoin into a higher amount.
