I would beg to differ-- the same battle happened between VHS and Betamax, and again the porn industry chose VHS and it won. Betamax was better in every way (technically speaking).
WRONG, BETAMAX was licensed by sony so cost more VHS was an open standard. Your history knowledge sucks.
