I still prefer to use bitcoin rather than ethereum when it comes to its value and even its uses. Bitcoin was being used as a means of payment in buying online not just like ethereum. We can also get benefited with bitcoin a lot and most especially ethereum price depends on bitcoin.

Honestly I agree, bitcoin still on the top other than the cyrptocurrency. Many investor prefer to have bitcoin as what you have said because of the high value of it.
