Get away from gambling as far as possible. After a period of time you will slowly lose the addition for it just like how you cure drug addiction. Another way is putting more time getting together with your family or your love ones which can makes you feel happy and you will slowly kick gambling or forget about it.

I would agree with your solution quitting gambling is never easy it can be really hard but i share some tips with you which helped me to quit
1. No matter what happens don't ever hit roll , how low is the amount , you got it for free got from faucet don't gamble at all
2. Try to reduce your visits to a gambling site like visit once in a week or in 2 weeks this will help you get control
3. Avoid keeping any funds on the gambling just withdraw everything and keep it in your wallet
