Yes, you need to use a BTM address, not an ERC20 exchange address.

Once we get that in our wallet how do we send it to Exchange? any idea? anyone else tried?

I tried but just like trying to mine to any other address that deosn't start with "bm" it gives an error. We need an exchange that isn't using ERC20 token addresses as I understand it.
