In my own personal opinion, to quit gambling for good you should change your habits that will help you to move on and forget all about gambling like playing sports, going out with friends, working out to the gym and focus on your job or business. You should also communicate to other people or making new friends that will also help you to change your lifestyle.

In my point of view, diverting to something will help you to a lot quit gambling. Based on my experience but not as a gambler but a dancer, I divert my attention into reading wattpads or anything that has no related to dancing.

If you really want to quit on something there is always a way that you can do it. Just always remind your self that you cannot do it.
