i have a router on 192.168.1.1, should i set that as the gateway, or must it be 192.168.2.1 on the antminer? (and/or on the router?)
It sounds similar to setting up an avalon.
Change your laptop's ip/gateway to match the antminer, then you can log in to when directly connected with ethernet cable.
Once there you can change the antminer to your 192.168.1.x, connect it to your router, put your laptop back and everything will be on the same network
For some early products, please take attention that you have to make sure that the LAN interface is working in "DHCP client" mode, before you change the WAN IP address.
