Hmm, thanks for the info and links. So, if I understand correctly. I need to make the following changes?

Voltage Offset: -2
--avalon7-voltage-level 12
--avalon7-freq 500

If so, then how do you get the '--avalon7-voltage-level 12, --avalon7-freq 500' settings back to default?

You remove them from the web page, save and reboot/power cycle.
Also, don't put a comma in there if you did.

Edit: also try it first without changing the voltage setting, and see how cool it runs.
As I mentioned in my post, I set the fan down to 42% and it still mined OK with freq 500
Thus since you won't be slowing down the fan, it may be OK simply by reducing the frequency.
