I think we'll see more Esports integrating Bitcoin rewards in the future, and hopefully more people sponsoring such events with their BTC. Perhaps some advertisements to appeal to the gaming community in general.

Gaming isn't limited to PCs though so your argument is only partly correct. It would be more accurate to say cryptocurrencies are having a negative impact of the PC market due to the increasing prices of GPUs.
I agree and think the gaining industry will create quite a bit of wealth from the launching of new mineable coins that will be used in games.
That's a thought. I can imagine a few MMORPGs trying this out in the future. Integrating their own cryptocurrency which will both act within the game, and an investment outside of it.
