As i seen and noticed on the market, when bitcoin rises and so does the other coin or alternative coins, i guess altcoins ( not preferring to all but like 60%) most of them are dependent on bitcoins value like ethereum , ripple and dogecoin. As of now the question should be the effect of altcoin on bitcoin since many coins now are appearing and the market is now crowded.

But if you properly see the fiat currency trading in altcoins then their is more fluctuations in fiat trading in altcoins then in bitcoins. So now i think users are now mostly trading in fiat currency in altcoins. So i think bitcoin affect is getting less as now cryptocurrency are even traded through fiat currency.
