I'm unclear how Tari will help Monero's price. Is the purchase of Monero a requisite for tokens on Tari?
What will help is the professionalization that VC's, marketing departments etc, will bring to the project. Though Monero might not be their focus, it certainly stands to benefit indirectly.
That said, two years (the projected development period) is an eon in Crypto.

I also don't know much. I think not that much is known overall. I imagine it as counterparty right now. Counterparty is an asset platform on Bitcoin blockchain. It still need Bitcoins to move asset. I think I read tari wil use tari, but I dont know.
Counterparty was started with Proof of Burn, burning Bitcoins. I think they sent 2000 Bitcoin to a Bitcoin address that no one have private key. I have no ideas of this is way tari will start but just posted one example.
In any case I just love the idea.
