To this attack Jared seems confident (https://twitter.com/jaredctate/status/999298805878026240) :
"The problem here was block timing and their “dark gravity well” difficulty adjustment. DigiByte fixed this problem in 2014 with DigiShield. They allowed up to two hour discrepancy in block times."

XVG only looks a bit like DGB from the outside....inside these are very different animals that are almost certainly valued incorrectly when directly compared with each other.
