The 1080ti is one of the last great cards without publicly available bios mods. Some sort of devfee based 1080ti general enhancement package which would include bios mods from OhGodAGirl et al. should be welcomed.

Going forward for miners there are a some tough issues:

1) GPU vs ASIC vs FPGA

2) Open source vs closed. You are not going to get people's best efforts or the best talent if software mods are open source.

3) I have yet to see any kind of cloud mining make money for the customer. If you need the superhuman GPU software skills of OhGodACompany to produce uber 1080ti's to make GPU cloud mining profitable, then I think your biz model is flawed.

I certainly hope that OGAC makes their uber GPU tech available to everyone for some sort of devfee.
