Let's sink that in. It's just with almost all crypto communities - without small group of developers, they can't take control over it or do anything with it.
They just cheer-in, when there is a pump. That's very sad.

Any takeover dev who forks Pi would be entitled to a good sized % of the coins ... community is obviously rusted on, worth considering, not exactly rocket science forking Pi

Why don't they just start a brand new project?

It takes no effort to forget, its already forgotten.
Starting a brand new project and building a community consumes a lot of TIME, which is why companies like Microsoft acquire GITHUB...!
