Archiving is not necessary. The only use of archived page is in case account gets hacked, hacker deletes signed message and somehow deletes the quote as well (asks the member who quoted it). This is very unlikely though.

Hi mate, I dont know if you understood me incorrectly or I expressed myself improperly. I mean, whats the point of archiving? Isnt enough to just quote and verify? Thats what I do. But I see some people also archiving and I dont know whats the point and if it makes a relevant different from just quoting and verifying.

We are asked to simply verify the address and not editing our posts. If someone wants to add a link or an image of verification or archive the post then he is free to do whatever he likes.
