But was it really hard to highlight in red color the message about downloading a new wallet? I downloaded my wallet at 16 December. And if you've changed it later for some reason how could I'd known it?

I suggest add info about the version 0.8.54 at the first page.
For example, in the case of changing a torrent, it's considered good manners to write about it with bold text, color highliting and dates.
