What is the definition of new miner in regard to the pool? Is it a 'new user' or a 'new worker'? For example I am a User for 5 months using 5 machines. If I were to add a 6th miner/worker is this new miner at 5N or does it ramp up from 0N-5N based on the current pool hash rate?

I think it's just math since you need 5 blocks to be "fully vested".

N is one block, so at the hashrate he used in his script, N = 5 days, 18 hours, 37 min, 19 sec.

More workers make the pool hash faster (obviously), but 5N is still that miner (wallet address, not device), being in the pool for 5 block finds.

This is my understanding of it at least.
