Moral of this story: if you think ether is dying, if you think it will never come back, you're too young in this game or you haven't been paying attention. If you think after a while of ether doing nothing that it is suddenly going to go up to some ridiculous price, then yeah... you've been paying attention.

This logic doesn't only implies to ETH. It can be said for the market as a whole. Cryptos has undergone more severe dumps in the history and it always came back. We are just getting started and market is in its initial stage which makes high volatility a normal thing. Market lacks volume which makes whales control the amrket. But with time, market will get mature and whales will lose the hold. Then price might get rid of high volatility. Right now, being the early investors, we have to deal with high volatility.

I agree with you, this is just how the crypto market works because it's still at a young age. There will be so many more ups and downs from now on, but those who will not panic and give up on crypto will be the real winners in the future.
