I believe you have to wait for 1440 confirmations before you can see the countdown timer working (forging)
In je java client you're running you can see the version

I'm checking the blockchain explorer and I can see my transactions but not how many confirmations I have. Where do I check how many I have? Is there anywhere I could ask this newbie questions instead of here? ))
EDIT: Just looked up the block in the blockchain explorer and it shows 905 confirmations. So I guess I need to wait til the 1400

My version is '.4.2 so guess I'm good as well.

I've seen you need VPS servers and that there are some guides. I will try to find some time today to check it out and set a node (no idea what it is exactly but sounds helpful). Also, if you need some Spanish translation, let me know
