I dont think there is a new L3+ and there probably wont be any new ones. There is no incentive to spend so much to develop new miners when the price have gone down so much. The risk wont payoff and will probably lead to losses. It is probably the same with the S9.

Don’t forget chip dev times lag by at least 6mo to 1yr. Just because prices don’t make sense now does not mean they weren’t spending millions for R&D when they were selling L3s by the thousands. Bitmain was certainly working on 16nm for scrypt after they shipped the L3’s. I’m already working with a

 22nm 1w/mh chip.

I kinda doubt it. No offense but even if u get a better NM, u probably cant sell it cheap enough like bitmain can. Bitmain S9 is still better than T1 after all. L3+ is still the best and Inno's litecoin miner which is already at 16nm cannot beat L3+ 28nm anyways. It is too expensive. No point wasting money on it especially when the  underlying coin isnt gaining huge value.

Just my 2 cents.

Yea well I'm already invested, and what I'm trying to build is something both these Chinese companies, that care only for the cents they can make and their huge farm customers, can't. And thats a home miner designed for homer miners and a way to further decentralize these networks. Yea I can't compete at the dollar/mh value, but people should find way more value in what I'm building and if they don't, oh well.

Well...my stuff is getting shut off today or on July 1st probably...may run till the July 5th due to the Holiday...but that's it...I expect in the USA where the average

electric rate is 12c kWh ...that MANY will pull the trigger by July 4th....so congrats to those with less than 6c a kWh...not that it will make you a LOT of money

Stuff getting shut off 4 L3's and 14 L3+'s for equiv hash of 16 L3+'s at 8,000mh and 12,800 watts at 14c kWh (with data hall rent) at current LT.C price of $80.00

but some over electric. So seems it is just like BTC Hobby mining in 2014....kaput now...I can't see scrypt-pow coming back in a big way ..with 90% of all equipment

worth running at the pow-scrypt difficulties and LTC difficulties..no one has an advantage...thus ...in the case of LTC they will come and go, being turned on like the

tide every 3 days for diff change....(LTC) ...and eventually all this will be underwater vs electric costs and they will all fade...leaving Bitmain (with cheap elec and

the 20% cost on $1.00 for equipment they have to pay on top of that...eventually ending up on top...and this is NOT saying they have new scrypt-pow equip Bitmain

will mine over the summer with 'crumbs' of pre-orders in the fall. Sorry, at $80 an LTC it has never made more sense to just HODL your crypto of choice rather

then get any type of miner equipment....add data halls wanting at LEAST a month up front or 6-month contract...(and a lot are already full) this seems to be

pretty much wrapped up. My real concern is IF Bitmain at more or less the same watts...and they mine all summer and pre-order in the

fall, they would raise pow-scrypt and LTC ..what 30% on top of what it is now? Then expect us to get miners in the fall after they own scrypt-pow for the summer?

I myself will not be 'enthused' and will not play that game, either in getting LTC or scrypt-pow coins or equipment..till I get a clear view of what this would mean.

So I'm out. Have 2 ASIC's in the bsmt mining sh*tcoin, that on paper show a profit (not Bitmain scrypt-pow units) ..but they likely will go off soon too..

what the heck, its only money (crypto) right?

was a heck of a run from 2013 till now...made me a crapload of crypto...but, looks like it is POS coins like LISK if I want anything monthly in the tank from now on.
