I think to look outside the box or even trying some other site as references, this ignorance in me wont be good in a long term investment perspective.

We cant blame ourselves yet we do always go for the popular ones that's why we wont really give any attention into the outside world but it doesn't matter because most of them do get data on most common site.
We do know CMC's reliability and its being used for how many years now. There are other options but I doubt most people would still end up on the same site for preference.
