The value of 1 share or coin is of no importance, it's the value of the total company/coin, compared to it's potential value, that is of importance to judge whether you have a good chance to make profit or not.

You can have a highly overvalued company/coin with still a low price per share/coin, and you can have a highly undervalued company/coin with a high price per share/coin. The first is a terrible investment, the second a great one.

Also the amount of new shares/coins issued can dilute the value of your shares/coins a lot, so study this too. Are there new shares/coins issued and those that get them, do they give more value back in exchange or less value then they get payed? A highly undervalued company/coin can go up a lot in value, but if more new shares/coins come on the market in the meantime compared to the value the company/coin goes up, the value per share/coin can still go down!
