Yes, controlling of your selves in gambling is pretty much needed because that makes you an addicted if that continues spoiling your self regarding that matter. And never chase your lose on gambling always remember that gambling is nothing and put a limit. I think to start with a small amount of gambling or used faucet for trial only. (IMO)

Controlling emotion is the hard part in gambling and that is why, even though most people already know that gambling can lead them to the very bad regret, they keep continuing. Self control is an easy said than done.

Yep, in reality we can't control our emotion easily especially when we are already in the table playing poker. So as long as you could, better not to gamble anymore it can just give you headache after you having fun in short time. If you can't control your emotion, limit yourself from gambling and prevent yourself from being broke in the future.

Not even being able to control emotion starts with expecting that you are going to win at all cost. If everyone ends up winning, who will be losing ?
The pattern is more like as very few are winning, so many more are losing, and counting the odds, except you are just some lucky son of a whatever, it is always a very slim chance. People tend to bring the negative effect on them-selves anyway since all they are after is trying to get the best from gambling, but they have forgotten that it is just gambling.
