I guess this could be the coin that has been getting wide adoption by the various institution and there is a lot of institutions and companies have worked with it and it's definitely ethereum as the largest platform right now. Bitcoin is only focusing on the payment and store value adoption. Ether has a better utility usage than bitcoin. ether should be the answer.

yes, I like you though bitcoin is the mother of all coins but bitcoin only focuses on payment and adoption of store value, although bitcoin is also much to choose as a long-term investment, the price is currently experiencing a considerable drop from the price before but I think ETH will be the winner at the end of 2018, because the price of ETH which is currently far from Bitcoin price, ETH also get adoption from various institutions from several companies.
