I think people should be aware that the only reason that could drive the price of bitcoin to such aggressive growth throughout 2017 was an irrational and unsustainable speculative bubble, so distrust should not prevail now that bitcoin has remained stable around $8,500. It is true that the big speculators would like bitcoin to continue growing 100% monthly but that is not possible, and I think the current price is quite realistic if we compare it with the previous behavior of bitcoin throughout 2016 and 2017.

Growing at 100% monthly would be risky and dangerous. At a rate like that, its likely that it will become a bubble and it would burst very soon. We cant say whether the price is realistic since we dont know what the true price of bitcoin is. Its likely that the price will just continue to go up since there is still plenty of room to grow and bitcoin has plenty of potential.
