This is exactly what happened to me, same error exactly. Won't read the wallet.dat and all my pennies are gone! But the extra wallets I created and had tried to transfer 50m pieces into are still there? Also, when I tried to do the transfers, it crashed and was giving me errors about spending coins that had already been spent?

Please please help. I don't even care about getting the last stake now, I just don't want to lose everything. I'm afraid to do anything at this point including letting the wallet re-sync. Is that wise, what should I do?
