under 2.5? that's bold. I went with +2.5 goals @2.05 and BTTS @1.80. We're going to see the likes of Griezmann, Mbappe, Hazard, Lukaku, De Bruyne, Pogba, etc, and these kind of players make me think we're going to see offensive football from both sides.

Haha mate I nailed both my bets tonight. It wasn't a bold move just a carefully calculated one. When 2 strong attacking sides face each other it's better to play it safely in the back than trying to outscore the opposition. And an important reminder - these superstars can have a bad day and not score a goal.

About the game, Roberto Martinez deserves to get sacked after Belgium's atrocious performance tonight. Just wtf was he thinking whe he decided to play Fellaini as a forward next to (or behind) Lukaku? and when he wasn't in the 18-yard box he was playing as a winger...wtf? but let's say Martinez wanted to play Fellaini because he can defend in corners or set pieces since France have several aerial threats...but he still failed to do that! Umititi scored mainly because of Fellaini's mistake :S

I thought Martinez was going to use the same tactics against Brazil, but I was wrong, Belgium's gameplan were just crosses and more crosses. And it was so obvious that Umtiti and Varane were pretty much dominating every ball in the air, yet Martinez kept the same gameplan until the 80' min when he decided to bring in Mertens. And what's with the last sub in the 90' min? you're getting KO'd from the WC and you wait until the last minute to make a change?

Props to Hazard, though, he was brilliant today, but he can't carry the whole team on his back...Chadli was awful, same as Dembele, De Bruyne was lost, Lukaku was invisible, etc etc, they just felt like a different team today.

All in all, underwhelming match, France and Deshamps outplayed Belgium.
