You have a valid argument. I really don't understand why bounty nows requires KYC for what? to get rid of cheaters? Besides the campaign manager can have his/her due diligence to check every participants to detect them in the first place. What I don't like is that how those projects handle your passwords or any other documents? Are they going to burn it? What if the hackers can taken hold of those data and sell them in the dark web? Your personal data will be compromise then and you don't what will happen. Maybe just one day someone will knock on your doors with a warrant or something.
