My purchasing habit has changed since the boom of social media and influencers. When I want to buy something I try to look it up online and read reviews about the product. It's the same way as every one these days, people are getting smarter at their purchasing decision. A lot of us rely heavily on recommendations now. When I shop online, I try to read the reviews first. If it only has 1 star, I skip it. If it has 5 stars, I read through the reviews and add it to my cart. I wanted to see if people were satisfied with the product they purchased and make my decision around it.
I think that's where Unboxed make it so much easier for people like me to make faster and better decision. They can encourage people to share the products they like and at the same time earn. It's kinda like having a coupon code in every purchase.
Yes everyone want to look at the reviews of the products in which they are interested or the brands in which they are confused but in some cases they find very little reviews as the users of that product may not find time to review about it online because of their busy life in earning their living. If they will get paid for giving their reviews about the products they are using then the new comers to that products and brands will get all the information and pros and cons about the product on social media.
