I am worried more so about the look of the board and it's future, especially now being detached from the official site. I mean, honestly, these forums are about dead now with no 'official' home (bitcointalk.org who?) , so I guess the theory of "fuck it, deal with it yourself" is a decent attitude. I dig.

A forum is usually as dead as its members allow it to be. Last I look, this forum is still quite active. Just because it doesn't have a front page with nice graphics and introductory text of some sort doesn't mean it has to be dead you know.
