I am not totally against with you, but you have a point. It is more important to have security and privacy in every user of this project to become more reliable and efficient of using their system, besides they should also consider the problem regarding about the back up security which is very important for them to be trusted.

How can you say that the project has bad security? I am sure that every developer will consider the security of their project.
