Another angle is because the general consensus is Bitcoin is screwed at the moment is a big whale might plunge the price with a sale at these prices and buy back in at a lower level. This move would wipe out the entity behind the massive pumps!

If there was no demand as you said and only those that were pumping bitcoin were the ones buying it, then you need to explain why every time the price went a little bit lower than 6k the price recovered in the next days? This indicates there is demand but that it is waiting for the right price to buy, and all of those buying right now are doing it because they think we are getting approval from the SEC in the next weeks and that will make the price to grow after that news.

Wishing up a lower price isn't bad but we should always based on how the community or support is doing. We do even hardly breaking below 5k price which means theres still a strong buy support and going below that would really be hard but still possible but those only on the worst possible market condition. If you just wait up for that time then you did just waste it up to buy on 6k price yet we are already on 8k usd as of this moment which its already a profit on your part.
