Am not complaining but just stating the obvious which is very glaring.

"Merit system helps to stimulate learning process", i agree to some extent but helping newbie to stay away from "useless distractions" is what i don't get? Because from what i can see virtually all members in this forum are part of one campaign or the other, ( which am guessing is the "useless distractions") you are referring to.

What makes a post worthy of merits is my question, but here you are talking about creating a thread with a considerable contribution with discussions, which - is not what am referring to, because members also can get reward for their post, not necessarily a thread, what Mr. A is considered as a helpful post may not apply to Mr.B. i hope you can understand my point?
