I never heard about this story. It certainly made headlines though. Some of you are upset that they wasted the milk. The poor people wouldn't have been able to buy the milk, even if it was being sold. I think it's a good idea for a protest. If you don't milk a cow, it's not good for it. The cows still had to be milked that day, so they had to decided what to do with. They could have just dumped it down the drain, but think think this had a much better effect for their cause. My favorite strike idea that I heard of recently was from South Korea. The bus drivers went on strike. They actually kept driving their buses, they just refused to take payment from passengers. This way regular people didn't suffer, just the bus company (or government?). It's hard to ignore that.
