But it is known that big foot was invented by two construction workers as a hoax, and their hoax became believed as truth, even despite proof that they invented it. Even now some people believe big foot may be real, giving idea life, even f it is known to be just made up story.

Would you stop believing in conspiracy if you found out it was invented? Do you know of any conspiracy theories that are made up because the people who invested them have come out of hiding to say so?

People want to believe in stuff because it makes their dull life/reality more exciting.
